The New Normal? San Francisco’s Mission District

Last week I ventured out of my house into my former hood –the Mission neighborhood in San Francisco– to see what life looked like amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. I found a neighborhood greatly changed with boarded up shop windows, everyone wearing masks, and restaurants trying to hold it together by serving takeout. I hope this is not our new world for very long.

All images shot with a Sony A7RII and lightly edited in Lightroom.
